ACHILLES UTILITIES VENDOR DATA BASE
TOP Q have assisted an organisation to obtain Achilles UVDB Category 2B Certification. This multi-national organisation are involved in an asset replacement programme for a major utilities provider. Based upon Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety systems, the TOP Q client scored the following - Health and Safety 86%, Environment 82% and Quality 95% - All of the scores were well above the industry sector average.

TOP Q have secured a 12 Month contract to assist a Reading based Electronics Manufacturer, in maintaining their Integrated Management Systems (ISO9001/14001/OHSAS18001) and developing their systems to further meet specific Aerospace and Military requirements.

QC CIRCLES and KAIZEN
TOP Q have been selected to assist a major Japanese Corporation in the introduction of QC Circles and development of Kaizen activities. Based upon standards developed by The Japanese Union of Scientific Engineers and Ishikawa's guide to QC Circle introduction, initial training will start in late January with a plan to have 8 QC Circles operational by the end of 2010

TOP Q have played a vital role in securing certification to ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS18001:2007 for a major Japanese corporation. On a very tight timeline certification was confirmed at the Stage Two audit in mid-December. In a company wide address, the President thanked all staff involved in the process, with particular reference to TOP Q MD Martyn Heath's expertise and advice. In an age where projects are normally delayed and over budget, TOP Q delivered results 3 and a half months ahead of schedule and 21% under budget. A confidentiality agreement prevents the organisation being named.

TOP Q have been selected by Luso Electronic Products to assist in the implementation of ISO9001:2008 in their Microwave Components manufacturing site in Cornwall. TOP Q will assist in the development and implementation of the Quality Management System right up to Certification.

South Staffs Industries have selected TOP Q to deliver training courses in Health and Safety Management and Internal Auditing. The Health and Safety course will cover regulatory/Statutory requirements, HSAW, RIDDOR, COSHH etc. The auditing course will cover audting techniques for ISO9001/14001 and OHSAS18001 Management Systems

Solid Swivel will use the TOP Q resource to Train and Assess to NVQ Level 2 in Business Improvement Techniques. The training will cover such subjects as 5S's, Kaizen and Problem Solving. TOPQ are delivering this programme on behalf of Sandwell Training Association.

CONCENTRIC PUMPS
TOP Q will deliver another series of Underpinning Knowledge training for NVQ Level 3 in Business Improvement Techniques. Candidates will be Team Leaders and Technical Support. The training is on behalf of the National Skills Academy for Manufacturing and Sandwell Training Association.
