When it comes to increasing equipment capacity/availability, output quality and machine uptime, not many methods are better than Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Pioneered within the Toyota Production System, TPM incorporates team working and work groups, at the same time as looking at how supposed small problems can escalate into very serious equipment efficiency issues.
