ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS REFINEMENT (EOR) ©
EOR is a process of identifying an organisations purpose and ability to meet consumers requirements by the analysis of the organisations activities and performance. EOR is made up of three main sections:
ENTERPRISE – An Organisation designed to provide goods and/or services to consumers by carrying out commercially viable and profitable work.
OPERATIONS – Recurring activities involved in the running of a business for producing value for the stakeholders
REFINEMENT – Developed state of perfection; having flawless or impeccable quality
The EOR process questions the organisations structure, culture and performance by asking:
- Do we have the structure and set up to meet our consumers needs?
- Do we have the structure, resources and attitudes to meet those requirements?
- Are our activities carried out in such a way that delivers products and/or services and adds value?
